الموضوع ومافيه أن أوبرا " مقدمة البرنامج الشهير أوبرا " قد صورت حلقة عن السعودية وعن النساء خصيصا وأظهرت فيها أن النساء كسيرات ومنقادات ولا لهن أي حقوق أو رأي أو حرية أو أي شئ .
وقد قامت إحدى طالبات جامعة الملك سعود جزاها الله خير بعمل موضوع لحملة تواقيــع..
لا أعلم مالذي سوف يستفاد منها ولكن على الأقل لن يضرنا التسجيل لطلب منع الحلقة أو الإحتجاج ....

A number of you might have seen the Oprah Show about Saudi women, and it disappointed, to say the least, a lot of us.
one of the students , a female student from KSU, wrote an open letter to Oprah on Petition Online. I ask you to read it, and to sign it if you agree with its content , and I`m sure you will .

What has hurt me most about this episode is presenting (in a false reportage) Saudi women as preys in their own country and Oprah's declaration- after that reportage- of American women being blessed by living and being born in the United States. Well, as a matter of fact, I've always held my head high and have been truly PROUD to be Saudi!

انا فعلا شفت هذه الحلقه هم باعتقادهم ان هذا الحجاب اجبار و غصب معتقد خاطئ و لكن منتشر و خاصه بعد اللقاء مع تلك المغيه قريبه بن لادن و الي ما في شئ حقير و ما قالته عن العرب و هي اكبر دليل عن الناس الي يبيعون دينهم و ملتهم من اجل المال و الشهره و ان يتم تقبلهم في المجتمعات الاخري -مع العلم اني لا ادعم اي من حكات بن لادن لانني اعتقد ان قتل الناس الابرياء في اي حال من الاحوال ارهاب-

really thank u my dear for the wonderful thread
i actually dont watch this kind of talk shows, but as my sis always used to say that its a nice one.

anyway i totally agree with u guys, they dont have the right in interfering in our life, even though i live in lebanon and wearing the 7ejab isnt common, but these are our values and traditions and no one has the right to change it, only when we decide to.

i will proudly sign the petition, just hoping it will get to its purpose
